I finished my 365 project!
Here is the first picture I took: January 1st 2017.
Here is the last one I took: December 31st 2017
I’m really proud of my self!
I learned a ton about photography.
I captured the more everyday aspects of my life.
I was more intentional in my parenting.
I felt more grounded.
I’m so glad that I decided to take on that challenge…
so I started another one.
It was absolutely hard on many days,
but I’m assuming it’s like a marathon?
or childbirth?
or buying a house?
the in-between stuff is miserable but by the time all is said and done you’re talking about the next race and the next name on the list.

Onto the holiday celebrating documenting:
Family picture outtake
Libby setting the table.
Holiday sing and pajama day.
Saturday morning screen time.
Folding laundry.
Our library series:
Indoor sledding.
Spoons.
She voluntarily brought in wood.
Wrapping a ball in streamers for Christmas.
Putting on her Snow White shoes, again and again and again.
At the park.
Band concert.
Gingerbread houses.
Christmas Eve dinner, finger foods selected and prepared by everyone.
Christmas morning.
Elizabeth got a sewing machine, which may or may not be nicer and quieter and fancier than mine.
We’ve already made three things with it.
I got a letter board!
I’m always fashionably late to trends.
Meg received a gift card for getting her ears pierced.
Spencer and Bennett got some dress up clothes.
One is a fighter pilot jacket.
Which is some sort of necessity when you’re feeing 30 chickens leftover waffles.
A new quilt for a new year.
A circuit board.
Meg got roller skates for Christmas so Adeline adopted the old pair and the two of them spend countless hours practicing.
And lanterns with wishes for the new year.
New Year’s Eve dance party.
New Year’s Day rifle shooting.
Libby moved into a big bed.
Preferred reading position.
Flashlight and tent.
Back to school on a foggy morning.
Bubbles at the Science Museum.

I have loved your photo challenge and am so excited you are doing it again this year. I may have to resolve to do a 30-day challenge...or maybe start with a 7-day. Happy New Year to your family!
