Libby is one week old.
I haven’t cried, in like, three days.
She’s a good baby.
Bryce has been off work.
He’s the best, ever.
The boys have been with Bryce’s parents for the week.
And I really miss them.
{May just be the hormones talking…just kidding, I really do.}
They’re coming home tomorrow and my mom is coming, too.
Then:
Bryce will go back to work.
My mom will go back to Idaho.
The kids will have three more weeks of school.
Then it is summer.
I will have six kids home.
And I may or may not be terrified.
But, for now, I’m trying to enjoy all the happy changes.
The girls made the sign for Libby and me when we came home from the hospital.
{Can we just all agree that it was super brave of me to take a picture?}
Complete with some poetry:
the pool is cool
but you are not
ewe
life is cool with you
Our neighbors had this massive blow up obstacle course in their front yard for their granddaughter’s 5th birthday.
And they were generous enough to invite the girls over for the time that it was there.
Guys, it was longer than their house.
Anyway, the family used it for like 2 hours.
And my kids used it for like six.
….and how she really felt about the scale.
