My older girls headed up to Eugene to visit Grandma and Grandpa for a week of science camp with cousins.
Leaving just the little ones home.
And it was nice to be able to do things geared just to their ages.
Which meant lots of PBS, snacks, Disney movies, trampoline, bike rides, Toys R Us window shopping and splash parks.
I liked it.
In other news, Bennett has been struggling with just being lazy and wetting his pants. None of our ‘motivational consequences’ seemed to be working.
Till I came up with the idea that he only had to take a nap if he wet.
Turns out it was just the ticket, so now we have sleep deprived, but dry three year old.
With an occassional mid afternoon melt down when he can’t get his trains to stay attached.
She’s singing Moana.
Bennett, go inside and wipe off your mouth.
That’s OK, Mom, I get it with my tongue.
Raspberry season has started!
My garlic harvest was piddly.
That one time Bennett somehow convinced Libby to pull him around in the wagon while he drank his soda.
The lighting in Libby’s room is so pretty in the evening.
And when I do dorky things like take pictures of myself with my bike because I had ridden to my Visiting Teaching appointment.
Slide in the pool for hours {20 minutes} of fun.
I made a cabana that also doubles as place to hang wet suits and towels.
Because I had out the lens best suited for room pictures.
