two whole meals this week.
So, as I reflect back on the past seven days, I feel pretty good about them.
Except for Tuesday where the constancy of the terrible rain kind of got me down.
But some YouTube and microwave popcorn seemed to alleviate most of the grumps.
I also was able to gain some perspective about where my life is at right now.
I took a picture of Bennett last week in his Superman shirt doing a puzzle.
And this week I took a picture of the exxxact same thing.
Not going to lie, it was a little bit depressing.
If you can’t be good, at least be consistent.
I’m pretty sure that’s a famous plaque somewhere….
And now onto the real reason we’re all hear, average pictures of ordinary people during a normal week.
Laundering
Washing
Training
Creating
Climbing
Of course we have a wood pile.
One of the unwritten rules in homesteading is one must accumulate piles of stuff.
Killing it.
Watching Libby jump on the trampoline is probably the best part of this job.
I mean, her hair.
I could.not.stop.
Drawing
Cuddling
Parking, not like make out parking, not that I would even know what that means, is that even still a thing?
This is super hard to see, I realize that.
But Bennett and Libby are both in the baby swing, Adeline is pushing them and there is sun flare.
So, I still kinda love it.
Loved how this turned out.
Jumping was way trickier.
Morning-ing
Her hair and dust.
Note the bribbery.
Meg had her last day of gymnastics.
It’s kind of expensive and I kinda hate the coach.
Looking into alternatives.
In the meantime, I thought it would be nice if we ALL went to watch her last lesson.
Arguably the longest two hours of the week, for the kids, it was super nice to see what she can do and take pictures of her out of the floor.
I made a dress from some t-shirts Bryce had purchased but never worn because the sleeves were janky.
And that one day the children regretted their existence…or maybe just mine…
Hope your week was great!
Thanks for viewing? Reading? Coming?
Katie
