Which is what my parents who are here visiting for the week pointed out to me.
And then in the same breath told me that I shouldn’t share anything on the internet.
Kind of a mixed message.
It’s ok to be in pictures but not to share those pictures with everyone?
Anyway, I read a quote recently that said you’re in every picture you take.
Your perspective.
Your insights.
Your priorities.
And I’m happy to share that with you.
Even if you rarely see me on the other side of the lens.

My kids stumbled upon body surfing.
She did this flip and her hair looked soooo cool.
And other tricks.
Libby ready to save the day.
And Bennett…?
At the park!
The days have been so nice recently with temperatures in the low 90s and not heating up till late in the afternoon and cooling off to the 50s at night.
Creek finds: a quarter
a green bottomed acorn,
a piece of glass,
and a tunnel!
And another park.
Seriously, some pretty nice parks in our area.
This is supposed to be blurry, so you can feel the movement.
But for real.
How is this fun?!
And our last camping trip of the year.
Searching for frogs.
This pretty osprey.
When you camp in the Redwoods, you can’t hang anything of the trees.
We bought this new tent that has a door that’s more like a real door.
And you can bet it got opened and closed as frequently as a real door.
Playing telephone.
On the walking bridge.
You all should go to Jedediah Smith State Park, it’s amazing.
He caught like 30 frogs.
The morning mist.
At the beach in Crescent City.
Home again.
I’m trying not to dread this week.
But the 175 pounds of pears ripening in my basement,
the tomato vines heavy with fruit
and one more ripe plum tree
are kind of giving me anxiety.
Like
a lot.
Even blessings can be overwhelming.
