is this one.
Spencer told me he could do magic.
I should come right this minute and see.
He called Bennett into the room as well.
Spencer commenced to hand Bennett a series of black and red Checker tokens.
And walked a couple paces away.
Then he crossed his arms in front of him and told Bennett to throw the tokens at him.
And while I watched, not a single token that Bennett threw at Spencer touched him!
See?
Magic.
{It was less magical when Meg threw the tokens at Spencer.}
Don’t worry, our week also consisted of less magical aspects…like canning 85 quarts of grape juice.
Libby has this rainbow light in her room and she ran and grabbed it when she saw this other, more real, rainbow.
I had put a couple quilts on frames to get tied, and before hauling them back downstairs, the kids had a fun time using them as a balance beam.
I bought these funny felt strips at an estate sale and decided to put magnets on them to put on our ‘buffet’.
They’ve been so fun for the kids.
Happy coincidence.
Right now they’re in rainbow order thanks to Elizabeth.
One of my good friends came to visit for a week so we decided to hand paint this sign.
I snagged this from my neighbor’s outbuilding before they moved and it got torn down.
It’s the front door to my neighbor’s dad’s diner…Franklin Diner…that used to be in downtown Medford next to the Craterian in the 30s and 40s.
We were gifted a new bubble maker!
And running around the house.
I can’t remember what she was crying about.
And because even bubbles must.be.destroyed.
Spencer super wanted me to take a picture of his dog in his shoe.
Yelling Beckoning for the cat.
Working on the buttons.
In Dad’s shoes.
Just having a chat.
I’d love to hear what your Halloween traditions are!
Katie
Not talking about or planning Halloween costumes until Oct 1st.
ReplyDeleteHalloween is much, much, much easier when I no longer have to manage the kids (trying to get something decent down them) and answering the phone on Halloween night. Now I just have treats and wait for darling kids to show up begging. Fun!
