As the eternal optimist, I'm ignoring the fact that I am completely sleep deprived, for reasons out of my control, {unless you count that I find my husband so attractive that we decided to have babies, then, yes, it would be in my control} and am putting together a list of things I'm excited about:- The chickens are finally laying eggs. I found two in the coop this morning.
- The chickens are laying eggs in the actual hen house. There was some speculation on my part whether or not they would actually lay in there, seeings how they're free range and all.
- For as s-t-u-p-i-d as the chickens are and for as close as they've actually gotten, they have not actually crossed the road.
- Canning season is over!
- I canned the last of it yesterday, homemade grape juice.
- I got a project done as a little surprise for Bryce. It's not quite finished but I wouldn't post it anyway, on the off chance he would actually read my blog.
- The cupboard that I bought for $5 six months ago is in the house ready to be painted.
- I'm going to rent the new Jane Eyre tonight, please don't try and talk me out of it.
- Spencer has his first tooth!

Just want you to know that I have been thinking about you and I am pretty lame because I have not called, but time is pretty sucked up by stuff right now. Glad you're a patient friend.
