Years ago, I was blog hopping and found a post about some wooden rain gutter book shelves.
And I wanted some.
Desperately.
So I kept my eyes open for some, and I found three gutters a couple years ago for $20 at an estate sale.
I finally got it put up in the boys’ room.
{This is one long one cut in half.}
That chair was my grandparents.
Which is why I can’t bring myself to recover the pastel pink cushion.
Spring is in full swing here.
Which is exciting.
But also promises another hot, long summer.
{At least I’m not pregnant this go around…}
I’m contemplating putting together a Chicken 101 post if any one is interested.
So let me know if you are.
If not, don’t worry about it.
Hope you had a great weekend,
Katie
I would love a chicken 101!!! Our neighborhood only allows a handful and husband doesn't way any. So my goal is only four. What kind of city person have I turned into? I am guessing it won't happen this year though. I am going to have a baby instead.
ReplyDeleteYes on chicken 101! I need to learn all I can over the next few years before we move somewhere that I can actually have chickens! And rabbits...we're going to do rabbits too....Jordan is actually more supportive on the rabbits for meat than the chickens for eggs. lol.
ReplyDeleteAnd those gutter book shelves are fab!
ReplyDeleteI don't recognize it as a Closner chair but if it is just know that it didn't stop me from recovering the green and pink chair I inherited. Please share your chicken knowledge. I'm still impatiently waiting for my bulbs to pop up and you have blossoms.... sigh....
