And by banner day I mean Libby both
ate dog poop
and swallowed a penny.
We also had to go to the shoe store.
I hate going to the shoe store.
Why are there never carts?
And everything is toddler height.
And loads of stools and mirrors.
It’s basically a free carnival without the benefits of fried anything.
The only picture I may take today is me going to bed early after a startling amount of hot chocolate.
It’s fine. It’s fine.
At least not all days are like this.
Most days Libby only eats actual food.
See, fine.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At the park.
Eating a cupcake
Non-scripted posing.
Multi-tasking.
Piggy banks
and a hiding kitten.
So, I make my kids play outside.
Even after they make arguements about how much time they spend outside:
{ALL DAY!}
walking to school: 10 min
walking from school: 10 min
recesses: 45 min.
I did the math, roughly one hour,
out of 12.
But when else would they get to do fun things like…..make up dance routines on the front porch.
SEE?!
We’re doing something right.
On our way to story time at the library.
GROCERY SHOPPING!
And eating lunch.
Thanks for all the responses to the last post, it was fun to hear from so many of you!
Truly.
Plans for the weekend?
Katie
Love the post...it lifted my spirits...If it was possible to die from being asked too many WHY questions...I think I would be dead.
ReplyDeleteLove the bike reflection in the puddle!
ReplyDeleteThis weekend=tax prep that should have already been done.
Well...Something new to add to your list of firsts? Thanks for all of the photos...Feels like I got to spend the week with you. Heading out of town for a little get away this weekend...
ReplyDeleteI am glad I'm not the only one who has a gross baby. Lily puts everything in her mouth, including when she was playing in Eliza's poopy toilet water with her binky and then repeatedly put it her mouth cause it was so delicious.
