Declaration!

My blog is lame.

It started out so strong: ideas were flowing, people were commenting....now, nothing.

The reason?

My creative talents are being utilized in other parts of my life: reinventing my house, figuring out new ways to discipline Adeline for touching Meg, figuring out what type of rodent I just saw in my flower bed and what I'm going to do about, trying to keep the morning glory weed under control, keeping my garden alive, finishing up quilts so I can host a Quilt-Tying Party and then do a quilt-give -away post (let's just say I have about seven homeless quilts) going to countless baby showers (not that I'm complaining) and the other tasks that are part of every day life.

So, some ideas I've had to help myself out.

Do a rotation. For instance Monday could be a project post, Wednesday could be a family update/Adeline potty story post and Friday could be a soap box post.

That's actually the only idea I've had.
Pu-lease let me know what you think, if any of you are actually still reading,
Katie

  1. I still can't figure out how to do this under my name. I have a great place for two of your quilts. Like yours my tops are done but they have not been put together. As you know your two sister's were home for almost a month and we were going to finish at least 3 of the quilts. But they are still sitting on my trunk unfinished. Maybe when i come to visit, i could bring my tops and we could have your quilt tying party and then mine would be done also! I read your blog all of the time, so i just like hearing about your life and the life of my grandchildren. the picture is so cute, glad to see you have a camera now.

Do not stop posting, I L.A.U.G.H. my butt off at this thing! p.s. I am a friend of Heather Deming's...we go waaaay back! Have a nice day!

  8. Don't think about it too much. Just let your genius flow out of you:) I don't get any comments on my blog, so at least you have a few people... Don't stop though, just push through the slump. You're keeping quite a few people entertained.

  10. FREE STUFF!!!! Who doesn't like that. But besides that, I do enjoy your blog. And if anyone is like me, they are probably just too lazy to comment regularly.

  13. Um, you know your blog is cool enough that you don't have to bribe us all with a giveaway. And you know your quilts are cool enough, you could sell them instead of using them as bribes...
