Sandwich

To my mother-in-law, Marie:

Thank you for your helpfulness and generosity. Your good deeds do not go un-noticed. My girls love the stuff that you send them.

About that....

In the future, please consult me before giving Elizabeth a Barbie karaoke CD player with two working microphones. This toy has caused many hitting/throwing matches, time-outs, hurt feelings, tantrums, and headaches.

I would be happy to compile a list of quiet, peaceful toys.

Thank you again for all that you do.

Respectfully,

Katie

  2. Maybe boys have ruined me, but I didn't realize they made quiet toys anymore. Just about anything is loud in their hands.

  3. I think grandparents purposefully send toys that are load and obnoxious because (realizing it or not) they want revenge. My mother used to tell me she hoped I would have a daughter just like myself. At the time I thought she was being sweet...now I know it was all a plot for revenge!

  4. Gosh, I hate that. Loud, not load. That would be stupid.

  5. Grandparents are just like kids...they look for things that look like a ton of fun...AND they don't have to think about consequences...
