The Finale

The winner is: Chelsea and she chose Cracklin' Rosie. Congratulations.

O.K. people, as evidence of how great I think all of you are, for the finale, I will give away two quilts, so make sure that you enter by Monday morning.

Leave a comment telling me your favorite ice cream and once again your favorite or new favorite quilt along with your email address if you have not entered before.

Good luck!

Later on I will be posting a picture of Adeline.

Apparently if you weigh 25 lbs and you are messing around instead of going to sleep and you are doing acrobatics that involves a stool and a bed that is a foot off the the ground and you land on heavily padded carpet just so on your arm, you can break it.

Have a great weekend and I can't wait to see who wins some quilts. Thanks again for all those who have participated, I know I've had fun reading through the comments.

Katie

  1. Oh my goodness, this is my favorite!!!!! Mint Chocoate Chip all the way baby! When i was prego i ate it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And inbetween. There is a close second that goes to cocunt mixed with a little almond joy candy bar. Maggie Moo's is the best place to go for ice cream. I could tell you a really funny story about ice cream. Ill make it really fast, i was learning how to drive and we went to Maggie Moo's because they had a huge parking lot for me to drive in. So we ate some ice cream i went driving, next thing i know I am in the Honey backed ham store Window.I had droven over the sidewalk into the big window of the store. I popped the clutch, it was awesome. I got free ice cream for a month because they felt bad for me.

Anyway, sorry to make it so long. My favorite quilt is Forever in Blue Jeans.

I love reading your blog, you always put a smile on my face! :)

  2. So my favorite is still Yesterday's Song. Though Forever in Blue Jeans is a very close second.

My favorite ice cream is anything except coffee (don't they realize coffee smells horrible) and corn (yes, they do make that in Hong Kong). It's really hard to mess up something that's cold and sweet in my humble sweet addict's opinion. Too bad I just let Mary and Alex finish off the last of our ice cream.

Sorry about Adeline. I broke my arm flying off a trampoline as a kid if that makes you feel better.

  4. My favorite is still September Morn. My email address is rachelhughes78@msn.com. My favorite ice cream is whatever is on hand. As you know, we keep lots of it on hand. I'll go with vanilla to be specific.

I am very sorry about Adeline. I always wanted to break my arm when I was a kid and never did. What can I say, I was the 4th child and wanted some attention. I hope she doesn't realize she can bash people with her cast.

  5. So my favorite is still Yesterday's Song and my favorite icecream would have to be mint chocolate chip. I don't get it very often, though, because Caleb doesn't like it!

  6. Hmmmm...my favorite is actually vanilla. It is of course improved upon with hot fudge, but I love it plain as well. :)

    New favorite quilt....September Morn.

    Happy Friday!

  7. Moose Tracks would have to be my favorite ice cream, but really I'm not going to complain about whatever flavor is placed in front of me. Ask Bryce- when he was here we had ice cream sundaes, I can pack it in! :)

My favorite quilt would be Yesterdays Song.

  8. Ooooh....ice cream. Well, I'll have to go for my favorite concoction...Black Forest Dream at Coldstone. Brownies, cherry pie filling, hot fudge, and chocolate ice cream. Decadent. I'll go for September Morn or Yesterdays Song. YAY!

  9. Ice cream is a weakness... I love coffee flavoured and where I live it is hard to find... in fact, nothing compares to that flavour I first tasted in France.

  11. I'm still loving Forever In Blue Jeans, with Yesterday's Song being second. My favourite ice cream is Häagen-Dazs Cookie Dough Dynamo. My husband and I tried it for the first time right after we bought my wedding gown...several tastes later, let's just say I needed some good undergarments to get that dress zipped by the time my wedding dress rolled around!

  12. September mom is my favorite. but it was one already so, I am still happy to win it!

As for ice-cream...I love vanilla. boring I know. But if I had to choose something that wasn't plain I would go with cookie dough. If we are talking blizzards I would say oreo and reeses. hows is that for narrowig it down.

oh and make sure you pick me this time will ya!

  13. September Morn is still my favorite. My favorite ice cream is...(drum roll please) anything with chocolate and caramel in it. I'm a bit of a chocolate addict and the caramel is just icing on the...well the ice cream. :)

  14. Forever in Blue Jeans. I can't decide whether my favorite ice cream is Rocky Road or Mint Chocolate Chip. Mark doesn't like either, so
I don't eat them often enough to decide...

  15. My favorite is still Sept Morn w/ yesterday's song 2nd. My absolute favorite ice cream is Ben and Jerry's chocolate fudge brownie. It is the BEST! I only get it once or twice a year though b/c I eat it all in the same day. My other favorite is Rock Road. I'm not a big fan of marshmellows, but in chocolate ice cream it just tastes good.

  20. Ok, this time I am feeling lucky. My favorite ice cream is vanilla... because it can become anything you want it to be or just be great all on it's own. Since my favorite quilt has been given up for adoption already I am going September Morn for this post. Hope the little one's arm is feeling a little better. bradandbrittney@hotmail.com

  21. Ben and Jerry's Dublin Mudslide -- much more enjoyable if the nutrition label is made illegible. Yesterday's Song, but they're all gorgeous! jjjstilt@gmail.com

  22. My new favorite (since my favorite is gone :( *sniff, sniff*) is Yesterday's Song. My all time favorite is Mint Chocolate Chip, but there was a Ben and Jerry's that they no longer have that was called Tropical Passion (i think) that was awesome and I miss it dearly.

  23. Avacado Ice Cream from the Philippines. That or a Frosty (if that's even ice cream).

I'm liking the Blue Jeans quilt.
***FULL DISCLOSURE*** AIMEE DID NOT PUT ME UP TO THIS!!! ;)

  24. Mint Chocolate Chip. For sure. I'm usually a chocolate person but given the chance to eat only one flavor for the rest of my life this would be it. And that seems a logical way to reach a conclusion on a favorite of anything.

Forever in Blue Jeans. My invite for the picnic stands if I win a quilt.
